Graeme Thomas
Graeme Thomas has been writing and performing stand up on and off for some years now. Getting his first taste of comedy during his university days he has since performed in venues across Scotland and the North of England.

After graduating from Edinburgh University in 2001 with a History Degree, he spent a year in Canada, where he worked and gigged, playing shows in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and a solo show in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Before heading for colder climates he was the resident compere at the Stand in Edinburgh for two years, performing every Sunday. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival in four shows: Stand Up Scotland in 1999 and 2000 (***** Scotsman), and with fellow act Teddy in Rebels Without Applause (***Three Weeks)before debuting his solo show, Who Do I Complain To?, in 2008.

After returning from Canada, Graeme quickly established himself back onto the Scottish comedy scene, becoming a regular contributor on Fred Macaulay's radio show on BBC Scotland, discussing news items and performing character skits.

Graeme has also been part of The Stand Comedy Club's Highland and Island Tour a two week tour round the north of Scotland, performing with Martin Bigpig, Paul Sneddon and David Kay. This took them to Skye, Mull and Orkney as well as mainland venues including Inverness and Ullapool.

Graeme has appeared on Scottish Television's Loud TV, and had some scene stealing (honest, you can pause the DVD and he's acting them off the screen!) extra work in the CBS drama special Trudeau. Dogtooth Media developed his comedy short, Making a Bitter Britain, as part of a competition for Channel 4's Comedy Lab.

Having built up some momentum, Graeme took himself off to France for a year to live and work on property renovation and was gutted to find out it's not as easy as it looks on the telly. Graeme returned the following year with a vast array of DIY skills, a little more French and - more importantly - some more material! Now back in the fold, Graeme is determined not to fall off the comedy radar with any more 12-month stints abroad.
