Comedy Improv
Scotland’s only full-time improv
troupe –
The Stand Players - combine their unique and successful style
of comedy with games, new formats and special guest performers
...in short, it’s improv improved. Established audience favourites
such as Half Life (a one minute scene repeated again in 30
seconds, then 15 seconds, then 7, 3 and finally 1 second), will be
joined by skewed views of up-to-the-minute news, even more
opportunities for audience interaction, and much more.
The Stand Players are:
Stuart Murphy

show The Melting Plot, and also lunchtime favourite Free
and Easy.
Garry Dobson
Garry has been performing since 1990, with performances in both
theatre and improv, including Guardian short-listed plays
Making Love and Feel Real with Prominent Theatre as
well as The Improverts, End Of The Line, and a
regular in

Lunch Is It Anyway? and has recently been
seen in Glasgow based Disposable Theatre.
